 I
thought it might be nice to introduce myself to you and tell you a bit about me
and what I'm all about. In this age of countless home business scams and
rip-offs, I believe you need to know who you're dealing with if you're
interested in pursuing an Internet marketing opportunity. I want to
establish a trust and be more than a faceless stranger. I also want to
explain what drove me to create my business, which is built on honesty and
integrity. That being said, here's probably more than you ever wanted to
know.I have spent my entire professional
career in technology. I served in the US Navy in the late 1960's
practicing avionics and getting my first exposure to computers. (Nothing
like what we have on our desktop today :) In the early 1980's I started my
own technology integration company in Walnut Creek, California in the East Bay
area of San Francisco. I've always been a diehard entrepreneur. One
of my clients, the second largest publisher in the world, convinced me to come
on board as Chief Information Officer (CIO). That led to a move to New
York so I uprooted my native-California family and relocated them to White
Plains, New York. Fortunately for me, that turned out to be a good family
move and was particularly fun for me, since I was born and raised in Maryland.
It was like coming home after 20 years in California.
After that I was recruited as CIO for a large,
mail-order prescription drug provider and tasked with rebuilding their entire
infrastructure from the ground up. That required me to move to Alexandria,
Virginia where I reside with my family today.
While the corporate executive life has its
attributes, I longed for the entrepreneurial life and being able to 'think
outside the box' and try new and exciting things. That mindset is not
easily embraced by corporate America. So, I returned to consulting with
Fortune 100 companies and government agencies.
I was traveling all over the United States and
Canada, spending most of my time away from home, when I realized - I'm getting
older and there just isn't any security or stability in the corporate world.
When was the last time I was really happy with my job? When was the last
time I didn't worry day and night about job security? It was when I was
working for ME as an entrepreneur!
Why I Started This
Business
By this time I was really into the Internet and
what it had to offer, not only in technology, but as a tool for people who may
want to (or have to) work from home. It occurred to me that there are
hundreds of thousands of people who, possibly through no fault of there own,
needed a way to earn a living. Many are handicapped or childcare givers.
Some are 'stay-at-home-Moms' or don't have sufficient education to get a decent
job. This should not mean that they can't be gainfully employed or
self-sufficient.
Whether you want to supplement your income,
replace that boring job completely or make a ton of money and become a
multi-millionaire, you should be able to do that and have total control of your
life while doing it! Wow, what a concept!
So my next step was to research how a person
could achieve this life altering goal. What could a person, any person, do
to make a lot of money in a short period of time? It had to be something
that I liked and could test extensively to make sure it worked. What is
the great people equalizer? What makes us all the same (except for the
drive and determination?)
The Internet and the
Computer
Of course! With a computer (you can get
one for a few hundred dollars now-days) and a fast Internet connection, you can
be anybody or anything you want! But no matter what you do, never stray
from being honest and legal. I stress that because so many have.
I could have convinced you I was thin and
handsome. But I blew that by putting my picture on the page. The
point is, YOU can be successful if YOU believe it and YOU are determined to
succeed. It's not easy. It requires hard work. You can make a
little or a lot of money. It's totally up to you! I can't guarantee
what you will achieve. I don't know YOU. But I can guarantee that if
you want to - YOU CAN BE SUCCESSFUL! If you remember nothing else,
remember this.
NEVER GIVE UP!
So that's why I started this company. To
